As we continue to grow, PSD Citywide is looking to add a new Data Analyst to our Asset Management Advisory team. This is a Full-Time Remote based role within Canada. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting large and complex data sets to identify patterns, trends, and insights that can help organizations make informed business decisions.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Collecting, integrating and manipulating client supplied infrastructure data in Microsoft Excel and our proprietary software programs.
- Advise clients on industry best practices related to Municipal asset management.
- Provide ongoing support and training to PSD clients.
- Create expectations with PSD clients throughout the data implementation process.
- Manage multiple implementation projects simultaneously; prioritizing effectively to ensure on-time and accurate implementations.
- Identify and analyze business needs and coordinate between stakeholder groups to address them and deliver prompt, efficient, quality service.
- Analyze and interpret data using statistical methods and data modeling techniques.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and provide data-driven solutions.
- Other duties assigned.
Qualifications
- College or University Degree in Computer Science, Information Management or Civil Engineering Technology or other related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in a Data Analyst/Business Intelligence role.
- 1-3 years of experience working with business stakeholders within a cross-functional matrix environment.
- Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Excel, relational databases, data quality control, FME (Safe Software), CMMS and GIS.
- Knowledge and working experience with municipal infrastructure asset management systems, municipal operations/building services and/or mobile applications would be considered an asset.
- Proven ability and experience in executing strategic asset management processes successfully.
- Highly developed analytical skills & software troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent verbal, written and analytical problem-solving skills, including the ability to communicate technical information to technical and non-technical staff.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively facilitate complex implementation projects and communicate with key contacts within the public sector.

This is a remote based position that reports to our Burlington, Ontario office which is centrally located within just 1 hour of downtown Toronto and Hamilton, ON, and Buffalo, New York. Burlington hosts some of Ontario’s top festivals and events and is home to the Royal Botanical Gardens and beautiful boardwalks along the shore of Lake Ontario.
