Our CEO is the Co-Chair of the Project Data Analytics Task Force, one of the DataIQ100 and is helping to shape the future of this game changing discipline. The CEO is looking for a Chief Digital and Data Officer to lead the technical team and help navigate through an environment of almost limitless opportunities. You’ll also be helping to deliver 2 data trusts, both world firsts, that will help to transform the industry. We have a bold vision, with strong social values.
Job Role
We are looking for a Data Analyst who has an aspiration to work with Projecting Success to develop new capabilities and ways of working within Project Delivery organisations. We are currently working on some exciting projects for government agencies, private project owners and major contractors which have the potential to change how projects are delivered. You will sit in the technical team and work alongside others on consultancy work, as well as on the data trusts and internal projects.
Person Specification
The preferred candidate will have worked previously as a data analyst or a data scientist for at least 1 year. They will have a degree in a quantitative subject (maths / computer science / engineering etc) or have equivalent experience from a previous role. This a varied and exciting role, and you will have experience in the following areas:
- Diagnostic & Descriptive Analytics
- Data Visualisation
- Exploratory Data Analysis
- Statistics
- Power BI
- Python
This is a remote role with occasional travel for Project:Hack and workshops with clients. If you have experience working with project related data sets this would be a big plus.
The core responsibilities of this role include:
- Development of data analytics insights and solutions to develop new capabilities and ways of working within the Project Data Analytics industry.
- Delivery of consultancy services to clients, likely to include both workshops and development of insights and analytics.
- Interpret complex data sets using statistical techniques and present your findings back to a variety of stakeholders.
- Maintaining an awareness of developments across the industry, and any new tools and technologies in your areas of specialisation.
