Responsibilities
Our client is seeking a Data Analyst/Operations Support candidate to join their team!
  • Collect, process, and clean data from various sources for analysis
  • Perform regular data analysis to extract actionable insights that can enhance operational efficiency
  • Support the operations team with data-driven insights and decision-making
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and regular reports using data visualization tools
  • Collaborate with IT and business teams to understand data needs and implement effective solutions
  • Assist in the development and implementation of databases, data collection systems, and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
  • Monitor and audit data quality, ensuring data consistency and integrity
  • Support in operational processes, including the implementation of new initiatives and strategies
  • Assist in process documentation and the creation of instructional materials
  • Respond to requests from team members and management for specific data analysis projects
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a data analyst or in a related field, with a focus on operations support
  • Strong knowledge of data gathering, inspecting, cleansing, transforming, and modeling techniques
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages such as SQL, Python, or R
  • Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, PowerBI, or similar
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication skills to present data in a clear and cohesive manner
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Excellent time-management skills and the ability to work on multiple projects concurrently
Preferred Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred.

Clearance Requirements
  • Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; an active Secret clearance is required.
