Responsibilities
Our client is seeking a Data Analyst/Operations Support candidate to join their team!
- Collect, process, and clean data from various sources for analysis
- Perform regular data analysis to extract actionable insights that can enhance operational efficiency
- Support the operations team with data-driven insights and decision-making
- Develop and maintain dashboards and regular reports using data visualization tools
- Collaborate with IT and business teams to understand data needs and implement effective solutions
- Assist in the development and implementation of databases, data collection systems, and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
- Monitor and audit data quality, ensuring data consistency and integrity
- Support in operational processes, including the implementation of new initiatives and strategies
- Assist in process documentation and the creation of instructional materials
- Respond to requests from team members and management for specific data analysis projects
Requirements
- Proven experience as a data analyst or in a related field, with a focus on operations support
- Strong knowledge of data gathering, inspecting, cleansing, transforming, and modeling techniques
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages such as SQL, Python, or R
- Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, PowerBI, or similar
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication skills to present data in a clear and cohesive manner
- Strong problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
- Excellent time-management skills and the ability to work on multiple projects concurrently
Preferred Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred.
