Job description
NxGen Recruit are currently recruiting for a remote home based Data Business Analyst on a 12 month initial fixed term contract to enable this business use data effectively to make informed decisions.

Your main role will include:
- Identify and map data sources and data flows
- Understand business reporting needs
- Use Business Analysis techniques to identify better ways to use data
- Extract and migrate data using SQL queries (ETL)
- Analyse data in MS Excel and produce reports using BI Tools
- Work with 3rd party suppliers to ensure databases are working efficiently
- Use SQL to interpret the system, identify and diagnose data issues
- Devise data policies and procedures.
- Experience with databases (SQL) to an intermediate level
- Working with teams and suppliers
- Business Analysis and requirement gathering skills
- Data mapping and extraction skills (ETL)
- Strong MS Excel skills for data analysis and reporting
- Creating reports using tools such as Power BI or Tableau, etc or similar
- Able to communicate with a technical and non technical audience
- Strong organisational, team work, attention to detail and communication skills.
This role is 100% remote home based and in addition we are offering:
