Job title: Data Analyst
Location: Leeds / Hybrid
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £35,000 p.a. plus pension contribution 3% from MoreLife and 5% from employee.
Reporting To: Chief Technology Officer
Key Relationships: CTO; MD, SMT; PMO staff.
The Role:
With a strong emphasis on new technologies, responsible for the technical direction and evolution of our data analysis and reporting needs. Responsible for the quality and timeliness of reporting delivered to both internal users and clients. Owning the relationships with current and future 3rd party system providers. Responsible for growing the function as required to support the continued growth of the organisation.
Key responsibilities: -
- Liaise with internal and external clients to fully understand data content
- Create data dashboards, graphs and visualisations
- Mine and analyse large datasets, draw valid inferences and present them successfully to management using a reporting tool.
- Set up and maintain automated data processes
- Monitor and audit data quality - identify, evaluate and implement external services and tools to support data validation and cleansing
- Manipulate, analyse and interpret complex data sets relating to the employer's business
- Produce and track key performance indicators
- Develop and support reporting processes
- Prepare reports for internal and external audiences using business analytics tools
- Develop records management processes and policies
