Job description

Meraki Talent’s Global Financial Services client has a requirement for a Data Analyst to join their administration team in Glasgow.

The Data Analyst will be a critical appointment and therefore we are keen to speak to high-calibre individuals with strong Data Analysis experience

Key Responsibilities:
  • Gathering and organising knowledge of data flows whilst evaluating new data presentation, data management and acquisition tools.
  • Engage with a diverse set of stakeholders in order to achieve the overarching objectives, including, the IT team and third party consultants.
  • Adherence to operational controls, as outlined in procedures and policies to ensure risks are identified and managed
  • Manipulate large sets of data.
  • Exploring existing data structures to identify missing data, duplicate data and data sets that can be joined together to provide an enhanced intelligence picture.

Background of the Position:

  • Good organisational skills ideally with project management experience
  • Proven ability to develop subject matter expertise in complex areas.
  • Highly motivated, entrepreneurial and autonomous
  • Sound understanding of data types
  • Scripting/macro development or similar programming skills.
  • Experience within financial services
