Senior Data Analyst – Nottingham (Hybrid Working)

Up to £55,000 + Comprehensive Package

MBN is partnering up with an energy company to help them appoint a Senior Data Analyst in the Strategy and Performance Insights teams. In this dynamic role, you'll have the chance to leverage the power of data to gain deep insights, tackle intricate problems, and create real positive change in people's lives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize various analytical and statistical techniques to unlock valuable insights from data, providing well-reasoned recommendations to address business and customer problems.
• Thrive on data mining and extracting valuable information from diverse structured and unstructured sources to develop innovative insight solutions that benefit our organization and customers.
• Demonstrate your proficiency in handling large and complex datasets, including gathering, manipulating, applying analytical techniques, and presenting results compellingly and easily understandable.
• Assess customer behaviour from multiple perspectives, evaluating creditworthiness, collections, vulnerabilities, and affordability using internal and external data sources, contributing to improved risk assessment and decision-making processes.
• Proactively share your problem-solving and analytical insights within your domain, collaborating with stakeholders across departments to drive positive change.

Skills:

• Strong analytical skills, with experience in data analysis and a comprehensive understanding of statistical concepts.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as SQL and Python
• Ability to use data visualization tools such as Tableau
• Effective communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas simply, fostering better understanding and buy-in from stakeholders.
• An interest in working with extensive structured and unstructured datasets, as well as a passion for understanding genuine customer behaviours to drive positive change.
