About the Role
We're looking for an experienced Data Analyst to join our IT team based from Faslane, Helensburgh, Scotland. This role benefits from a 4 day working week Monday - Thursday with Hybrid working, typically 1-2 days a week onsite.
As our Data Analyst with work closely with internal/external key stakeholders reporting to the applications and data manager. You will play and instrumental role in protecting data accuracy, whilst ensuring compliance with GDPR and regulations, connecting new data points as well as playing an instrumental role improving data literacy across the business.

- Maintaining and developing data capture templates.
- Analysis and presentation of performance data, including charting techniques.
- Developing our analytical and data visualisation capabilities.
- Creating ad-hoc analysis when required, using experience and knowledge to build bespoke solutions to requirements.
- Ability to apply problem solving, data validation and interpretation of the findings.
- Assisting with development and preparation of client reporting /reports.
- Numerically confident with excellent analytics skills and passion for data
Required skills, qualifications and experience
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst
- Proficiency in TSQL
- Experience and or exposure to ETL of data
- Highly motivated and a strong team player, proactively working with external and internal teams
- Strong analytical skills, a passion for metrics and figures, you have very high attention to detail and you like to structure and organise things so that they make sense
- Experience in one of the following Tableau, PowerBI or Power Query
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Education equivalent or relevant industry experience
