If so, we have an exciting opportunity in the Corporate Performance Team within Lincolnshire County Council which could be perfect for you. The Corporate Performance Team is a central reporting hub which provides high quality data and intelligence from a diverse range of data sets using a variety of software.
This role offers the flexibility of hybrid working, offering both home and office working.
About us
The Corporate Performance team is part of the Corporate Transformation, Programmes and Performance team, the key areas we cover come under the collection, manipulation and validation of data into meaningful information to be used across the wider council and partner organisations, as well as fulfil statutory duties. We offer a great opportunity to make the most of your keen skills in problem solving and ability to recognise anomalies, and a chance to express your creativity and innovation through your analysis, making sense of a wide range of varied data and telling the important stories behind the figures. You may also be required, at times, to present your analysis to a range of stakeholders both internally and externally.
About you
We are looking to recruit two full time, permanent Data Analysts; internally we call them Performance Support Officers. Candidates must be highly numerate, have an eye for detail and possess excellent communication skills. Candidates will ideally be skilled in the use of Power BI, Business Objects or equivalent reporting software and have advanced skills in Microsoft Excel. A clear understanding of relational databases is desirable. There is also potential to develop your technical skills further in areas such as SQL, SSIS, Microsoft Access and VBA amongst other software packages.

Lincolnshire County Council has recently gone through a transformation process around smarter working and now offers the flexibility of home working. Our office location is at County Offices, Lincoln and you may need to attend the office on a business need basis.
