Kite Packaging have a brilliant opportunity for a Data Analyst to join their Data Team in Coventry. Kite Packaging was founded in 2001 with a unique vision and a philosophy of employee-ownership. The Data Analyst role will initially focus on our Pay-Per-Click advertising strategy and be responsible for a significant Pay-Per-Click budget. This includes developing Kite’s Pay-Per-Click strategy and maintaining the day-to-day operations of our Pay-Per-Click spend.
A key part of the role will be identifying areas to increase Kite’s return on investment and proposing changes to Kite’s Pay-Per-Click approach to drive product sales. You will be expected to keep on top of industry trends and work closely with the Marketing team to highlight areas of improvement across our adverts and website.
The day to day will involve adjusting the product areas in where Kite invests advertising spend and examining the performance of different types of advertising.
Your career as a Data Analyst within Kite Packaging will develop over time as your understanding of Pay-Per-Click and the business develops. You will work together with the Analytics and Data Manager and the Marketing Manager to develop your skills. The ambitions for this role are to become the leading analyst in Marketing Analytics, supporting the Marketing Team to make the best use of data and insight in their decision making.
This role really suits a Maths or Economics graduate who wants to develop a career in data and analytics. The ideal candidate will be someone who can pick up new skills quickly, is a logical thinker, resourceful and has a desire to use data to improve decision making.
The areas the Data Analyst will initially be exposed to includes:
- Website Analytics
- Website Sales Analysis
- Pay Per Click Management (Adwords/Google Shopping)
- Competitor Analysis
- Customer Insight
- Attribution Modelling
Key Skills and Essential Experience:
The successful candidate will have the following:
- Minimum 2:1 within a numeric based degree i.e., Maths, Computer Science, Economics, Business, Physics etc. or equivalent experience in another role.
- A strong passion and aptitude for technology, data, & business and using data to make decisions.
- Ability to investigate data, find trends, evaluate performance, and provide insightful recommendations.
- Any knowledge of SQL, Power BI, Excel, or Google Analytics would be advantageous.
