Job Title: 12 Month FTC Data Analyst – with python

The Data Analyst will report to the Data Science Director.
As a member of the Research and Data Science team, you will provide analytical support to the operating services and the sector management team in the following areas:-
  • Interact with Software Development, Business Development, Return Path Services and Engineering teams to maintain and improve models and algorithms
  • Provide mathematical and statistical expertise, data analysis and interpretation for new and existing services and research projects
  • To support, develop and enhance methodologies to support Kantar services worldwide and expand Kantar ability to conduct statistically sophisticated analysis
  • To develop novel and innovative ways to handling and modelling data, visualization and problem solving
  • To provide expertise and technical insight into new metrics for audience data
  • To develop new methodologies and practices for the use of RPD, Internet and Mobile data.
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualities:
  • A Bachelor, Masters or Doctorate degree in Statistics, Mathematics or a highly numerate subject area, with a passion for numerical challenges
  • Skilled in working with large and sophisticated datasets with a keen eye for detail and accuracy
  • Robust maths and stats skills and a curiosity about statistical and research methods
  • A strong background and proven interest in analysing data and looking for stories, patterns, trends and insights
  • Programming/data analysis experience using Python/Matlab would be an advantage.
