The Role:
Our client is looking for an experienced Data Analyst to join their friendly team in Trafford Park. Key Responsibilities:
- As a Data Analyst in the Operational team, you will champion data-driven decision making, working with the customer success project managers, engineering, and data services teams to analyse operational data to support customer reported issues or queries regarding the companies’ data products and technology.
- You will provide structured analysis of issues, recognise common trends, and identify problems, while interpreting and articulating the findings in the context of the customer and business needs.
- As well as having the technical capability to analyse data from multiple sources, and in multiple formats, you must be able to communicate with colleagues and customers to work through the issues raised and make recommendations for next steps.
- You will be part of our analytics community, working together to find innovative ways to analyse our data, and make recommendations for improvement to improve our services.
- You will work across all areas of the company, so there is no shortage of opportunities to make an impact. Areas you may work on include analysing digital behaviour data to understand trends and improve quality to meet customer needs, analysing trends of customer reports on panellist experience of our technology, and analysing the performance of our technology compatibility with devices and OS systems.
Skills Required :
- Previous experience in a Data Analyst role (3 years+ preferable)
- Strong SQL and Data Modelling skills
- Experienced use with or more data visualisation tools such as Tableau
- AWS Quicksight
- Power BI
- SSRS
- Microsoft office - Specifically Excel (including pivot tables and Vlookups) and PowerPoint
- Jira
- Confluence
- Translate into insights and present to customers and stakeholders
- Experience using a programming language such as Python
- Experience using big data tools such as Apache Spark, Snowflake, Presto, Redshift.
