Fletchers Solicitors Ltd have a fantastic opportunity for a Data Analyst to join our growing Finance team!
Location: Liverpool/Manchester/ Hybrid

We are looking for someone who has the following skills:
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills with an attention to detail.
- Experience of working with large data sets, the ability to manipulate them and present them in an understandable way to business users.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Understanding of how relational databases work.
- Able to communicate with internal stakeholders effectively.

Able to use Microsoft office (mainly Excel)
As a member of the BI team, you will play a pivotal role in our data governance strategy. Working with stakeholders across the business to drive quality and consistency of our data and ensure we make the best use of it.

- Creation and maintenance of a Data Dictionary, defining key dimensions and measures used across the business.
- Analysing data for consistency and accuracy in line with intended use.
- Identifying obsolete data or any other opportunities for data cleansing.
- Identify opportunities for standardisation of data across the business, aligning key reporting terms.
- Be involved in the creation and maintenance of business rules used in reporting.
- Maintaining relationships with the operations team to ensure alignment on business process design.
- Upskilling on SQL and Power BI to assist in the creation of new reporting solutions.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of our reporting structures, security rules and data management processes.

Responding to support tickets for any data or BI queries.
