Location: Solihull, UK (Hybrid, 1-2 Days per week in Office)

Summary of the role:

We are seeking a Consultant with advanced SQL skills to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting large and complex data sets to help drive business decisions in the retail industry. The ideal candidate will have experience working with retail data, advanced SQL querying techniques and data modeling, as well as excellent problem-solving and communication skills


As part of your duties, you will be responsible for:
  • Gathering, cleaning, and analyzing large and complex retail data sets using SQL and other data analysis tools
  • Creating reports and dashboards to communicate key insights to stakeholders
  • Working closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and provide data-driven insights and recommendations
  • Developing and automating data-related processes to improve efficiency and accuracy

Qualifications and experience we consider to be essential for the role:
  • 2+ years of data analytics experience, preferably in the retail industry
  • Proficient in SQL and demonstrated experience of using advanced SQL querying techniques
  • Strong experience in using MS Excel (advanced level) and MS PowerPoint
  • Analytical mindset and strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams in the retail industry
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
  • Eager to learn and develop technical skills – also happy to share knowledge with others
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI is a plus
