Job Title: Data Analyst
Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Data Analyst with a strong background in programming to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of data analysis techniques, strong programming skills, and the ability to derive valuable insights from complex data sets.
Responsibilities:
Collect, analyse, and interpret large datasets to identify patterns, trends, and insights that drive business decisions.
Develop and implement data collection systems, data analytics strategies, and quality control processes.
Perform exploratory data analysis to identify data quality issues, anomalies, and areas for improvement.
Design and execute data analysis experiments, applying statistical methods and data visualization techniques to present findings effectively.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements, perform data mining, and extract relevant information for analysis.
Develop and maintain data models, databases, and data processing workflows to optimize data storage and retrieval.
Identify and communicate data-driven recommendations and insights to stakeholders, both technical and non-technical.
Automate data collection and analysis processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data analysis and programming.
Assist in the development of predictive models and machine learning algorithms to support business forecasting and decision-making.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
Strong programming skills in languages such in Python & SQL.
Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools.
Experience working with large datasets, data cleaning, and data manipulation.
Knowledge of statistical analysis techniques.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work with complex and unstructured data.
Strong attention to detail and a passion for accuracy in data analysis.
Effective communication skills to translate complex findings into actionable insights for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
