Job description
Job Summary: The Data Analyst analyzes, researches, coordinates and reports on provider file data to support both internal and/or external requests.
Primary Duties/Responsibilities:
May include, but are not limited to:
- Generates provider data reports and analyses to support internal client needs.
- Performs provider data analysis and reporting in response to external request from providers and/or regulatory agencies.
- Serves as a technical data expert and liaison between the provider database organization and other functional areas to support data requests and ensure uniform and consistent data and data flow.
- Ensures the quality and accuracy of all reports.
- Performs provider data support, data/file analysis, network analysis, surveys and other ad hoc data requests.
- Performs other related duties as assigned

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field required.
- At least three years of related experience, including data file/reporting experience required.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
