We make promises to our customers, and we'll make promises to you too. The key responsibilities in this role include;

  • To manage, maintain and support data/information within all operational applications for the EU & UK LLP
  • To understand, validate and interpret data from the relevant systems
  • To develop and improve data management processes and reporting methods for DHL and JLR
  • Resolve data / reporting issues through data cleansing, consolidation and rationalisation of reporting requirements
  • To investigate data issues raised by the planning and operations teams, resolving them in a timely manner
  • Build and maintain relationships with different stakeholders
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to improve data quality, metrics and insights

Essential

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Good communication skills at all levels
  • Time management – strict adherence to deadlines
  • Ability to work on own initiative and under pressure
  • Strong mathematical/statistical and presentation skills
  • A logical thinker with the ability to identify areas of improvement
  • Have strong process and analytical skills to ensure requests are produced to the highest level
  • Full driving licence
  • Be flexible in relation to working hours, must be available to work UK bank holidays / weekends if required (with days in lieu)

Desirable

  • Understanding of SQL, VBA and Power BI
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 tools
  • Exposure to Oracle Transport Management (OTM)
  • Experience of data warehousing and database management
  • Transport and Logistics industry experience
