Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 17:00 (40 hours per week)

DHL Aviation are currently recruiting for a Data Analyst Apprentice, to join our Service Quality department at our site at, East Midlands Airport, on a fixed term contract for the duration of the Apprenticeship.

Key responsibilities of this role:
- Learn to understand data and how to report it
- Analyse scanning conformance of the Hubs / Gateways and distribute to relevant functions for corrective actions
- Create reports for functions to improve performance in key areas
- Analyse shipments failing through LHR/EMA HUB and provide managerial level reports into these failures
- Involvement with ad-hoc projects as required and as directed by line management.
- Review operational processes with a primary focus on improving efficiencies & quality
- Extensive use of Excel
- Learn to use Power BI
- Learn all about DHL Aviation and the functions within it
- Liaise with relevant process owners to drive improvements for identified areas

- Support UK Hubs and Gateways ensuring standards are maintained
Training you will undertake includes:
- End-Point Assessment (EPA): professional discussion and scenario demonstrations with questioning
- Delivery Method: Online portfolio to update with learning and development, Diarised virtual appointments with a dedicated Learning Coach, Attendance to training sessions, workshops, masterclasses (online)
- Additional training to take place to develop knowledge, skills, and behaviours in accordance with this Apprenticeship standard
Qualifications that you'll gain:
- Level 3 Data Technician apprenticeship standard with Microsoft Excel Certification and Power BI expertise
- Functional Skills Level 2 in English and Maths (if required)
You’ll bring to this role:

- Able to work as part of a team and use own initiative
- GCSE (or equivalent Level 2 qualification) at Grade C/4 or above in English and Maths. (Evidence of certificates must be provided or Functional Skills qualifications will form part of the apprenticeship.)
- Flexibility with working hours may be required. We operate 24/7 and may occasionally ask you to work outside of your normal working pattern
- Please ensure you can travel to the location comfortably before applying
