Derby Homes are an organisation owned by Derby City Council to manage and maintain 12,500 homes owned by the Council.
Information Technology sits at the heart of our organisation and is the key to our high performing services and high levels of customer satisfaction.
We are undertaking several major IT and data-led projects across the organisation, including the upgrading and continuous development of our management and maintenance systems, implementation of mobile working across the business and analytical projects enhancing our reporting abilities.
To support this work, we are looking for a skilled and passionate individual to provide effective business and data analysis. The work will be wide ranging, and you will work with professionals from across the organisation in a stimulating and fact paced environment.
The successful applicant will have the opportunity to showcase their business and data analytical skills in the delivery of a wide range of projects such as the introduction of new systems, customisation of existing systems, the development of customised reports, data interrogation and analysis, and data conversion and migration activities. You will also be asked to support business and system analysis in developing a corporate approach to business process engineering. Existing experience with SSRS, or SQL in general, is advantageous.
If you are a 'can-do' person, who is passionate about meaningful and accurate reporting you might well be the person we are looking for. You will need good analytical skills, and to be able to work to tight timescales and effectively manage your own workload. This role would suit an existing Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or an aspiring Analyst with transferrable skills. You don’t need to be an expert in social housing – we can teach you that.
Working with a wide range of stakeholders, including Senior Managers, Housing colleagues and partners, you will use your data-led insight to identify, implement and monitor business outcomes. You will also help deliver IT projects and be required to respond consistently and accurately to ad-hoc requests for data.
