Job Description:
Currently, we are looking to hire a new team member in the position of Intermediate Data and Analytics Developer.

The primary responsibilities will be to design and develop business intelligence solutions. The position requires a broad level understanding of BI technology and business perspective with a willingness to step into multiple roles.

The Intermediate Data and Analytics Developer role is primarily focused on developing business intelligence solutions leveraging the Microsoft technology platforms (PowerBI, SQL Server, DAX, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, and Excel).

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business or related area.
  • Programming skills and comfort in learning new programming languages.
  • Database design.
  • Strong analytical skills and an ability to present and communicate data, trends, insights, and recommendations.
  • Enthusiastic individual who is committed to building client relationships and cementing those relationships by providing the best customer service possible.
  • Eager for the opportunity to exercise existing skills and acquire new ones, with a true passion for learning.
  • Self-motivated to reach goals, with the ability to balance both collaborative and individual work projects.
  • Ready to join a team of individuals who are passionate about the work they do, and who believe in the importance of investing in our people.

Preferred Skill/Experience:

  • 3 - 5 years of energy industry experience.
  • 3 - 5 years of experience working with business intelligence concepts and systems such as data modeling, data warehousing, report development.
  • 3+ years developing and/or managing the implementation of Business Intelligence solutions using Microsoft BI Stack (SQL Server, Azure, SSAS, SSIS, SSRS), CDS, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Programming languages like DAX, MDX, R, Python, M, PowerQuery.
  • Experience with PowerPlatform (PowerBI, PowerApps, Flow).
  • Experience with Data Visualization tools (Tableau, Spotfire) a plus.
  • Experience with Databricks a plus.
