As a Structured Query Language (SQL) Developer/Report Writer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) to meet the organization's reporting and business intelligence needs. You will work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze data, and create visually appealing and insightful reports and dashboards.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business users, analysts, and other stakeholders to gather and document reporting requirements.
• Design and develop SSRS reports, ensuring data accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to established standards.
• Cognos experience preferred.
• Create and maintain report templates, data models, and stored procedures to support report generation.
• Optimize and enhance existing reports to improve performance, usability, and data visualization.
• Develop complex SQL queries and data extraction procedures to retrieve data from multiple sources for reporting purposes.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging of reports to ensure accuracy and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
• Provide technical support and guidance to end-users regarding report generation, data interpretation, and troubleshooting.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to SSRS and reporting tools.

Qualifications:

• Experience with Meditech Expanse strongly preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field strongly preferred.
• Strong Accounting and Finance knowledge preferred.
• Proven experience as an SSRS Developer/Report Writer or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and understanding of relational databases.
• Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server, including SSRS and SSMS.
• Experience in designing and developing complex reports and dashboards using SSRS.
• Familiarity with data visualization and reporting best practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a team environment.
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently.

The salary range for this position is $33.00-$38.46
