CarMoney is one of the largest finance brokers in the UK and we pride ourselves on our data-driven approach to finance. The business has seen explosive growth over the last year and the abundance of data created each day has allowed us to accomplish our mission: “Fighting to make cars affordable and accessible for everyone”. To help in this mission we are looking for someone to get more insights out of the existing data and set up tools to apply the findings.
We currently work with some of the biggest names in fintech and this would be a great opportunity for any candidate to develop how we work with companies such as Equifax, AutoTrader, and a panel of 20+ lenders. CarMoney still functions like a start-up, making changes quickly and iterating based on the results, however we are also a subsidiary of the Peter Vardy Group, meaning we have significant backing to grow the business.
While there are ongoing projects you’ll be expected to help with, the role is a bit more open-ended, giving you significant autonomy in deciding the specifics of technical integrations. Once you develop a holistic understanding of the business, there is the opportunity for taking the lead on new projects and growing the team further.
What you will be doing
- Implement, test, and optimise automated user journeys and experiences using the CRM to ensure new campaigns and workflows align with the company’s objectives
- Optimize CarMoney CRM in order to increase funnel conversion
- Develop web apps for internal use
- Control and track changes to automated messaging to customers/partners
- Combine and analyse data from multiple platforms to form actionable insights and visualizations
- Acting as the interface between a team of ~200 users and the CRM platform; translating business requirements into actionable technical designs
- Assist with implementing new technology integrations – Signable, Zapier, open-banking etc.
- Working with lenders and CRM platform to ensure integrations are working as intended and data flows are correct
What you will need
- Bachelor’s Degree in STEM field
- Experience of managing modern CRM systems
- Attention to detail
- Excellent working knowledge of MS Excel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Working with big data and knowing how to filter out the noise to form useful insights
- Self-motivated and driven to deliver value for the business and customers
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment and prioritize high-value tasks
- Curiosity to dig deeper into the data to better understand the business as a whole and find difficult to spot patterns
- Ability to translate overarching business goals into a series of logic steps to implement within CarMoney systems
- Coding skills (Python/SQL/JavaScript)
- Data warehousing and management experience
