What Data Analytics brings to Cardinal Health:
The Data & Analytics Function oversees the analytics life-cycle in order to identify, analyze and present relevant insights that drive business decisions and anticipate opportunities to achieve a competitive advantage. This function manages analytic data platforms, the access, design and implementation of reporting/business intelligence solutions, and the application of advanced quantitative modeling.
The Senior Data Analyst, Data Analytics is responsible for data and technology management to support and enable Operations processes including data mining, business analyses, data integrity, data acquisition, reporting and analysis. They use standard and specialized business software tools to assist Operations in managing business processes and performance.
Location: Remote (ideally targeting candidates based in EST/CST)
Responsibilities
- Manage and Develop ETL processes as needed to support business strategies
- Automation of Processes and Reporting to streamline, simplify and provide consistency of content
- This position supports Cardinal Health's Specialty GPO Operations. This team is responsible for supporting the Practice and Pharmaceutical Manufacturer Solutions of the GPO business. This includes reporting, revenue and rebate reconciliation, and services and contract implementation.
Qualifications
- SQL and RDBMS experience, with MSSQL preferred
- Familiarity with VBA, VBScript, C#, Java or comparable language preferred
- Potential for development into Advanced Analytics or Business Intelligence tracks if interests and skills are aligned
- 8+ years of relevant work experience preferred
