Job Role
We have an opportunity for someone with extensive analytical skills and proven track record to support the Operations Director in producing accurate data on a timely basis. To be successful, you should have strong analytical skills and be comfortable working with data sets of varying complexity. You should also be proficient in Excel and be able to effectively communicate insights and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders.
Job Summary
A data analyst is a professional who specializes in collecting, processing, and performing statistical analyses on large sets of data to identify patterns and insights that can inform business decisions. The main goal is to extract meaning from data and turn it into actionable insights that can be used to improve business performance.
The key responsibilities of a data analyst may include:
- Collecting, cleaning, and processing large sets of data from various sources.
- Conducting statistical analyses and creating visualizations to identify trends and patterns.
- Communicating insights and recommendations to stakeholders through reports and presentations.
- Collaborating with other teams, such as marketing and product development, to develop data-driven strategies.
- Maintaining data integrity and security.
- Identifying opportunities to improve data collection and analysis processes.
- Staying up to date with industry trends and new technologies in data analysis.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs)
- Strong analytical background
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, demonstrating confidence and persistence.
- Ability to interpret data whilst communicating this to ensure non finance stakeholders understand the messaging.
- Able to remain calm under pressure and challenge and change processes to improve data quality and efficiencies.
Background Experiences
- A track record of building relationships and able to influence positive outcomes with internal stakeholders.
- Ability to use MS Excel to sort, filter, analyse, conditional format, create charts and pivot tables.
- A self-starter, able to demonstrate strong organization skills, and able to prioritize workload effectively to deliver against key targets and core objectives/KPIs.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
