Job description
Position: Data Analyst – 6-month contract
Salary: £35/40K DOE
Location: Basingstoke / Hybrid

We have an exciting new contract role for someone who wants to work full or part time (3 days pw)
You should have excellent working knowledge of SQL, HTML, JavaScript, and advanced Excel, along with client-side web interface experience. You will also have strong data presentation skills.
Purpose of role:
· To provide data analytics support to all departments within the company
· To create data processing automation tools to improve process efficiency in all areas of the company.
· To assist with the integration of a new MRP system into existing company processes
Responsibilities and key tasks:
· Web interface to provide a visual comparison two Bills of Materials held in an MS SQL database.
· Tool to periodically synchronise a local MS SQL database table with a version held in the cloud.
· Tool to import information from an MS SQL database and export it to a new system via a cloud API.
· Web based tool to capture manufacturing timing data and provide easy to use analysis.
· Tool to monitor stock levels and provide easy to use analysis for all required departments.
Essential Skills:
· Good working knowledge of MS SQL
· Strong data analytic and data presentation skills
· Advanced use of Excel such as Pivot tables, Power Query, VBA etc
· Generation of basic web interfaces using server-side technologies such as C#, PHP, Node.js etc and client-side technologies such as HTML, JavaScript, CSS etc
