An opportunity has arisen in the Bettys Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Team, and we are looking for a Data Analyst to join us at our Craft Bakery in Harrogate.
As a Data Analyst for Bettys, you will be part of a newly formed FP&A team helping to deliver insight and analysis in order to help shape the future of Bettys. You will be responsible for the creation and maintenance of Power BI reporting to support the business with self-service information and insight. This will require you to build successful cross-functional relationships in order to understand business questions and translate them into actionable insight. As well as providing information, you will be responsible for implementing data quality, integrity, controls and governance, including master data ownership and governance. You will also need to demonstrate the ability to influence by advocating for data across the business, championing single source of information and process improvements. You will need to proactively manage data change requests and will have responsibility for maintaining data within the EPOS system.

About you
- Experience in IFS (Desirable).
- Power BI (Desirable)
- Strong communication (cross-functional and across varying levels of financial awareness).
- Excellent numerical reasoning.
- Ability to analyse large amounts of data and information and communicate this to assist decision making.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Curiosity and desire to make improvements
- Excellent accuracy skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to challenge and influence decisions with financial information.
- Ability to work collaboratively to solve problems and overcome difficulties.
- Excellent communicator and presentation skills.
- Ability to simplify and communicate financial information to non-financial managers.
