In your role as a Data Analyst Apprentice, you will play a vital role within the team. Your responsibilities will include Collating, cleansing and formatting data from multiple sources, writing automating scripts through Azure and SQL, Conducting statistical analysis including lead pipeline and so much more. This diverse range of tasks will provide you with valuable experience and enhance your skills as a data analyst.
In this role, you’ll work towards your Level 3 Data Analyst qualification, delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.
Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the Baltic team.
A Typical Day in the Job:
- Collating, cleansing, and formatting data from multiple sources: You will be responsible for gathering data from various sources such as SQL Redgate Compare, the Admin database, and the Master Repository. This involves ensuring the data is accurate, consistent, and in a usable format.
- Removing duplicates and anomalies: It will be part of your role to identify and eliminate duplicate records and anomalies within the data. This process helps to maintain data integrity and improve the quality of analysis.
- Writing automation scripts through Azure and SQL: You will utilise tools like Azure and SQL to write automation scripts. These scripts will help streamline data processing tasks, automate repetitive processes, and improve overall efficiency.
- Data visualisation through Azure and other platforms: You will be responsible for creating visually appealing and insightful data visualisations using platforms like Azure and other relevant tools. These visualisations will help stakeholders better understand and interpret the data.
- Conducting statistical analysis, including lead pipeline: You will perform statistical analysis on the data, including analysing the lead pipeline. This involves using statistical techniques to identify trends, patterns, and correlations within the data.
- Creating reports: As a Data Analyst Apprentice, you will be involved in generating reports based on your analysis. These reports will present key findings, insights, and recommendations to stakeholders, enabling them to make informed decisions.
Salary, Hours & Benefits:
- Salary £20,000 – £23,000
- Monday – Friday 9 AM – 5:30 PM
- 20 Days Annual Leave + Bank Holidays
- 1 Hour Lunch
- Opportunity for salary increments depending on performance

Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge:
- Highly numerical and analytical individual
- Understanding of SQL would be beneficial
- Understanding of data modelling would be beneficial
- Eager to learn
- Outgoing personality
- Grade 5/C in Math's and English GCSE or Functional Skills Level 2
