Data Analyst – Customer Science Team – Salary up to £47,000
This is a great job for someone who is passionate about showing the value of data driven marketing. They have a talent for explaining complex machine learning-driven initiatives to diverse stakeholders. This is an opportunity to play a key role in a project that is transforming the way a FTSE 100 financial services company is using data to drive its marketing capability. You will be working with talented data scientists, engineers, and senior stakeholders across the business, with travel to our site in London twice per month.

This person will take the lead on data analytics, insight generation and reporting to drive decision-making within a flagship data-driven marketing programme. They will help inform the data science roadmap with insights into campaign and test performance. They will achieve this through investigating patterns in customer behaviour data and building out our strategic reporting capabilities. They will present clear and actionable insights to a range of stakeholders, to help them understand the success and challenges of our innovative, agile approach.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
- Educated to degree or post-graduate level, within a numerate/programming-oriented subject, or able to demonstrate equivalent knowledge through industry experience.
- Experience in programming with SQL-like languages is essential, with familiarity of Python.
- Ability to interrogate data and independently provide insights that can drive a more data lead approach to decision making, communicating them to both specialist and non-specialist audiences.
- Familiarity with data driven concepts (model accuracy, propensity score) and marketing campaigns metrics (e.g. email engagement, response rate, etc.) to determine campaign performance and model efficiency.
- A positive, can-do attitude and a proactive approach; a great team player and a fast learner.
