Role Summary
Required Skills and Experience
- Educational Background: We encourage candidates with a Bachelor's or Postgraduate degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or related fields to apply. We value diverse educational backgrounds.
- Strong Analytical and Data Processing Skills: Proficiency in Python and SQL is essential for data analysis and processing tasks.
- ETL and Data Analysis: Proficiency in data ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and analysis using libraries such as Pandas and NumPy is crucial.
- Cloud Architecture Experience: Familiarity with cloud architecture, including AWS, Airflow, and Kubernetes, is a core requirement for this role.
- Data Visualization Proficiency: Knowledge of data visualization tools, preferably Plotly Dash, is essential for creating informative and engaging dashboards.
- Experience with Geospatial Data: Candidates with experience in handling geospatial data will be highly regarded.

Key Role Responsibilities
- Identify, Ingest, and Analyse Diverse Datasets: This role involves working with a wide range of datasets, including alternative data sources. Responsibilities include data cleaning, organization, tagging, and indexing to ensure data accuracy and relevance.
- Develop and Maintain Data Pipelines: You will be responsible for building and sustaining data pipelines, ensuring the efficient flow of data within our systems.
- Create and Manage Visualization Dashboards: Your role will require the development and upkeep of visualization dashboards, making data insights accessible and understandable for stakeholders.
- Analyse Industry Metrics: Identifying and analysing industry-specific metrics will be a key aspect of this role, contributing to informed decision-making.
