Data Analytics Intern – Energy Management
- Develop Power BI dashboards and reports based on different types of data sources like Oracle and SQL server.
- Assist in developing and maintaining data models.
- Assist in collecting, cleaning, and organizing data from various sources.
- Perform data analysis and generate insights to support decision-making processes.
- Conduct statistical analysis and create visualizations to communicate findings effectively.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and provide data-driven solutions.
- Support the implementation of data analytics projects and initiatives.
- Identify data quality issues and propose solutions for data cleansing and validation.
- Provide support in ad hoc data analysis tasks and projects.
- Assist in creating presentations and reports to present data findings to stakeholders.
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts related to data analytics processes and tools.
- Collaborate with team members to solve complex data-related problems.
- Assist in documenting data analysis processes, methodologies, and results.
- Support Decarbonization and Energy investigations as required.
- Preference will be given to students enrolled in a Data Science or Computer Science program.
- Consideration will be given students enrolled in all programs.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manipulate and analyze large datasets.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Python, R, or SQL
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Matplotlib.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
- Prior experience with data analysis or related projects is a plus.
- Monday to Friday, 8.5-hour days
