We have a fantastic opportunity for a Permanent Data Analyst to join our Trafford Account in Manchester.

Amey and Trafford Council are working in partnership to deliver environmental and infrastructure services for Trafford. The new partnership, formed in 2015, delivers commercial and domestic waste collections, street cleaning, grounds maintenance, highways services, bridges, road safety, street lighting and furniture, drainage and property services.
Reporting to the Performance Analyst, the role primarily focuses on the timely provision of
performance related data to both internal and external stakeholders. The role also includes
the development and support of the information systems and processes used across the One
Trafford Partnership
The standard hours of work are 37.5 per week

You will be responsible for:
- Responsible for collating, interpreting and analysing performance data from multiple data sources on a frequent basis.
- Preparing performance information and reports for internal management to jeopardy manage operational delivery.
- Analyse data to help drive performance development within the contract.
- Establish close working relationships with operational managers, supervisors and the local authority both at a personal level and for data sharing.
- Ensure that all performance data is accurate, up to date and timely meeting key contractual deadlines.
- Preparation of the Monthly KPI report and support the production of Monthly
- Management reports to be shared with the client.
- Prepare supporting data to share with the client to validate the performance reported in KPI report.
- Ensure that all data is fully auditable
- Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Provide support, training, advice and guidance to contract personnel in relation to the flow and provision of data.
- Assist in the creating and adaption of clear definitions for each KPI.
- Support the Performance Analyst in expanding Power BI reporting across the contract

We want to hear from you if you have:
- Good analytical skills, able to assimilate, interpret and present information from a range of varied sources including both quantitative (financial, activity) and qualitative.
- A sound understanding of the purpose and operation of performance management and performance frameworks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills including report writing and summaries.
- Able to relate to and effectively communicate with internal and external parties.
- Significant experience of Microsoft Office software particularly Microsoft Excel
- Experience of quickly analysing complex problems and finding appropriate and timely solutions.
- Experience of compiling reports in a variety of formats to a range of audiences at all
- Experience and knowledge of working with performance management frameworks.
