Job Title: Data Analyst
Reports To: Finance Director
Contract: 12 Months (with potential for extension depending on funding
Hours: 3 days (21 hours) with flexibility around days worked.
Location: Hybrid: mix of office-based and home working as per Business Requirements.
Salary: £26000 - £30000 (FTE), £15,600 - £18000 pro rata depending on experience

Age UK Croydon is looking to improve its data reporting and data analysis to support future funding and growth of our services. We are looking for someone with excellent database and Excel skills, who would like to have a real impact by supporting the charity with effective data recording, reporting and analysis from those reports.

You will be working in a small but key team within a growing, well-regarded local charity that values your views and encourages personal and professional development. Purposes of the job (But not limited to)

• Enable the organisation to accurately record, report and analyse data for internal insight and external demands.
• Ensure that the database (Charity Log) meets the data recording and reporting needs of individual services and the overall outputs, outcomes, and impact of service delivery data of the organisation.
• Maintain, update and develop Charity Log to support the delivery of services and inform the work of the charity.

Main Duties (But not limited to)

• Understand the organisation’s information needs and develop appropriate reports to satisfy those needs
• Extract, collate, interrogate, and present data and information in appropriate formats for a range of internal customers
• Assist managers in identifying their information and data requirements and provide advice on complex data and information management.
