Description
The Analytics team at MOBKOI is in an exciting phase. This is an opportunity to join a talented team at a rare phase point, where we have an open brief to learn and work with contemporary technologies to improve the reporting capabilities and application of data within the company.
Initially, the Data Analyst Apprentice will support in collecting and analysing the data that Mobkoi receives for its operations and to present the information to both publishing and sales teams. In addition, we will be evaluating and deploying various modern data tools and platforms (esp. within Google Cloud: Data Studio, Big Query). There will be an opportunity to learn about and develop internal tools using these technologies.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the Analytics function and projects.
- Developing tools and reports on our internal reporting platform (Currently Google Cloud).
- Pro-actively investigating discrepancies and errors in data and reporting errors and looking for optimisation routes.
- Responsible for generating media campaign reports and utilising available resources to fulfil data requests from various functions. Support on larger insight pieces to advise business stakeholders on the next steps.

KEY SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
- Strong Numerical & Analytical Skills.
- Fundamental Data Analysis skills (sound gathering, interpretation and visualisation of data based on creative/KPIs/client needs).
- A demonstrable passion for data analysis & problem solving.
- Competence with modern data analysis tools (SQL, Big Query, Data Studio, and Python, Jupyter Notebooks) and strong willingness to learn.
- Supporting Excel Knowledge (sumifs, vlookups, pivot tables, index/match).
- Ability to drive projects from inception to completion.
- Master's/Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant numerical subject: Mathematics, Engineering, Data Science, Economics OR a relevant A-level.
- Understanding of the fundamentals of digital advertising & marketing is a bonus.
