Why are we looking to hire a Data Analyst?
We love using data to support decisions, but how we collect, analyse and report on the data needs improvement. We're looking for a skilled Data Analyst to help us improve our decision-making by providing structure and process around data collection and analysis as we scale. This is a hybrid role with at least 2 days a week in your local office hub (Bristol or London)
Key Responsibilities
Build on existing reports and insight, and generate new reports that improve Deazy’s performance
Formulate, specify and document requirements for outputs for new requests and continually refine existing reports
Perform data analysis on datasets (internal and external) to summarise and produce key metrics related to OKRs
Troubleshoot issues in the data pipeline and resolve with support from product development team
Establish standard reports on key business areas, issues and trends impacting operational and customer performance
Develop and refine Deazy’s KPI Dashboard to improve data availability and visibility
Maintain and enhance our datasets to incorporate new information that can inform further analysis
Be a “data champion” by showing value in accurate and quality data
Review data collection processes and identify data errors and how they are caused so that they are rectified
De-mystify data analysis, engineering and science - to build adoption
Research and suggest improvements to our data strategy to help Deazy become more proactive
Be an enabler to teams within Deazy (and in time, with clients and DPs), by providing them the tools and insight they need
Identify new BI techniques and data sources to improve Deazy’s ability to model the business
Identify risks, challenges and trends that Deazy need to grapple with
Proactively explore internal and external data sets using advanced statistical procedures to obtain actionable insights and recommendations
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to proactively identify areas of exploration and improvement
Experience
Familiarity with data collection software and protocols
Experience integrating new software and programs to data services
Understanding of current data protection and privacy laws
A logical and analytical approach to problem solving
Ability to analyse statistics and data and draw logical conclusions from it
Ability to make sound business decisions based on fact, data, and logic
Technical Skills:
SQL
Data visualisation techniques
Sheets / Excel
Google Analytics / Tag Manager
Nice-to-have
Bash (or shell environments in general)
Cloud computing (e.g. GCP, Azure)
Python / R (optional)
Tableau, Looker or similar BI package experience

Compensation Range: £40K - £50K
