About the role:
As a Data Analyst you will support the Strategic Planning team and will work closely with the Senior Analysis Manager and Analysis Manager to ensure that robust, coherent and consistent business case analysis is available.
This role offers the ability to work remotely with the expectation to come into the office when required for meetings.

Key responsibilities:
This is a varied and challenging role, but here is a taste of what your day-to-day activities could include:
- Data / Information preparation and presentation: Using a variety of data systems to source, review, and prepare accurate and consistent data, and developing cost appraisal models for projects.
- Planning: Managing operational analysis planning, maintaining records of data, and informing the Senior Analysis Manager of progress and risks.
- Presentation: Presenting results and information clearly, including summary reports and methodology statements.
- Liaising with Colleagues: Collaborating with colleagues across the business to source relevant data.
- Reviewing and Research: Reviewing industry and business reports to identify relevant information and ensuring customer implications are considered in business cases.
About you:
You will need a degree or equivalent qualifications in statistical/numerical/analytical (e.g Maths or Economics) and have advanced skills in working with a database and data management systems like Excel.

- Good communication skills
- Able to handle and distil relevant information from complex data sets
- Experience delivering in a high-pressure environment
- Sensitive to interdependencies
- Flexible and able to work to tight deadlines
