Job description
With a fleet of 3,000 cycles, our Cycle Centre is a thriving hub and a key part of the Center Parcs experience. Our dedicated team is responsible for ensuring our cycles and equipment are ready to hire out to our guests twice per week.
CYCLE CENTRE ASSISTANT | £10.58 per hour
As part of the Cycle Centre team you will be required to deliver excellent service to our guests when allocating cycles and selling cycle accessories from the Cycle Centre shop.
This is a practical customer facing role, requiring a cheerful and confident communicator, who would relish the chance to undertake a busy and physically demanding job that’s right at the heart of village life.
HOURS OF WORK
You will be contracted to work between 64 and 128 hours per 4-week period on a flexible basis. This means that your days and hours of work could vary each week, but you will always receive at least your contracted hours each period. Shifts will fall between 8:30am and 5pm everyday except on Mondays and Fridays when shifts will fall between 7am and 8pm.
As our village is open 365 days of the year, your working hours will include weekends, public / bank holidays and during Christmas and / or New Year on a rota basis.
ABOUT YOU
Essential requirements:
- Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with both adults and children
- Excellent customer care skills
- Ability to perform well under pressure
- Physically capable of carrying out the demands of the role
Desirable requirements:
- Experience of working with cycles
- Experience in a customer facing role
- NVQ Level 2 in Customer Service or equivalent qualification
- NVQ Level 2 Cytec or equivalent qualification
