What you’ll do:
Cyber Threat Hunting Team Lead
Location: Brentford/Paddington/Newbury
Be accountable for the teams workload, their focus, and their output, as well as their daily needs and wants within the realm of Vodafone.
- Accountable for monthly (and periodic) reporting to leadership and wider teams where applicable.
- Take the lead for actively identifying new attacks and ongoing attacks by leveraging advanced security monitoring techniques and state-of-the-art cyber systems/tools.
- Lead the team by exceling in observing, triaging, conducting correlation analysis and investigations, and efficiently closing real-time complex security events. This includes accurately identifying false positives to ensure effective incident response.
- Research, automate, and identify attack methods, exploits, and unknown threats.
Who you are
- Professional experience in cyber security technical design and architecture.
- Track record of delivering cyber strategies in a complex & dynamic technology environment.
- Personal experience and judgement to be able to determine the right technical treatment of cyber security platforms.
- Strong analytical skills to inform effective data driven decisions on service improvement & risk reduction
- Ability to create strong virtual & matrixed teams across all Vodafone global entities. Creating coaching and learning environments. Knowing when to offer support to others and when to take personal accountability.
