Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust is looking to strengthen its Cyber Security Team by recruiting a Junior Cyber Analyst.
A key support role in the operational effectiveness of cyber security measures across the organisation, contributing to compliance with national cyber security standards in line with mandated national policy and the Trust's internal Governance, Risk and Compliance Framework.
You will assist in the analysis of cyber security threats through the monitoring and interrogation of various cyber security solutions.
You will assist in the production of action plans and associated documentation across a range of cyber activities, co-ordination and provision of evidence to support the National Data Security and Protection Toolkit and assist in the assurance process for technical cyber security aspects of IT Projects.
Ideally you will have proven experience of providing ICT support functions, preferably within a large organisation and in an ICT security environment.
Regular liaison with other IT teams, users and third parties are key to this role and therefore good communications skills are required.

To support the overall development, management and delivery of the Trusts IT Security work programme.
Provide IT security guidance to support the IT Operations Team, staff working throughout TSDFT, supported GP Practices and other stakeholders, through Service Level Agreements, under the direction of the Cyber Security Lead.
To participate in the planning and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure IT security provision and maintenance is consistent with the Trusts objectives, industry best practice and regulatory requirements.
To administer and monitor the Trusts IT security systems and services using various security technologies, to ensure incidents are resolved quickly.
Perform ongoing IT Security risk assessments and audits to ensure that IT Systems are adequately protected.
Prioritisation and management of allocated tasks and workload.
Contribute to the evaluation, development and implementation of Trust IT security provision to ultimately improve the cybersecurity posture of the supported systems, services and data security infrastructure.
The cyber security virtual team is a collaboration of IT Technical Engineers, working together to support a full range of IT Security functions to enable the effective provision of a secure environment, to support all the systems, services and clinical functions of the Trust.
