NHS Forth Valley are recruiting to their Cyber and Information Security Team. This is rare opportunity for someone wishing to build and develop their skills in an increasingly important sector. The Cyber and Information Security Technician will provide support to the organisation as part of the Cyber and Information Security Team. Helping to establish and maintain standards as required by the Network and Information Systems Regulation and Data Protection legislation.
Based within the Information Governance Unit, the post holder will monitor several key Cyber Security Systems which are key Cyber Security Technical controls for NHS Forth Valley and will be involved in collaboration with partner organisations on a range of complex and sensitive security issues.
The post holder will contribute to and participate in development and implementation of NHS Forth Valley Information Security Policy and Information Governance Strategy. We are looking for someone with a flexible approach to work, excellent presentation, negotiation, facilitation skills with the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
In-house and external training and support will be provided with the post holder expected to work towards recognised professional certifications. The ability and willingness to travel throughout the area of service delivery is essential as this post will involve cross site working.
