Locus Robotics is a leader in the rapidly growing eCommerce order fulfillment optimization space. Our solution helps warehouse owners attain 2-3X efficiency over cart-picking operations by empowering pickers to work collaboratively with our robots, while integrating with the operator’s Warehouse Management System and using and optimizing existing facility infrastructure. Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, the Buyer/Planner, based in Amsterdam, will be responsible for all purchasing activities to support our manufacturing operation in Amsterdam. The successful candidate will be customer-focused, process-driven, and enjoy working in a fast-pasted startup environment. They will bring enthusiasm to support implementing standard processes and best practices to help Locus scale for growth.
- Lead and manage a team of customer support representatives in EMEA, ensuring that they are providing exceptional support to our customers.
- Ensure that all customer inquiries are addressed in a timely and professional manner.
- Work closely with other departments, such as Engineering, Sales, and Operations, to ensure that we are meeting our customer's needs.
- Develop and implement customer support processes and procedures to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Analyze customer support metrics to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for process improvements.
- Participate in customer meetings and presentations to provide updates on support issues and communicate new product features and enhancements.
- Work with the Locus Robotics training team to ensure that our customer support representatives are trained on new products and services.
- Ensure that our customer support team is up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in customer support or related field.
- Strong leadership skills and experience managing a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems or robotics is a plus.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in additional languages (German, Italian, Spanish) are a plus.
