Customer Services Assistant
Job Purpose/Background:
Diamond Advanced Motorists is part of the DIA Group Ltd, delivering post test training and testing to companies, the general public and local authorities. We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Customer Services Assistant to join our team and help us deliver our core services to our clients.
Normal hours Monday-Friday 9.00 am - 5.00 pm. If you’re looking for a customer services role and the opportunity to develop your skills and experience, we are looking for someone to work on an initial 3-6 month contract with a view to the role becoming permanent. You must have experience of working in an office environment and answering customer calls.
The role would suit anyone with previous experience in a sales or a customer services role with confident telephone skills and the ability to speak with a variety of clients helping them to book and seek guidance on tests and training over the telephone and online. A good and clear telephone manner with a high level of customer service and the ability to explain booking options is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Processing online and telephone orders for driver training and testing
- Data entry
- Answering phone calls for Diamond Advanced Motorists and covering for the DIA team where necessary on the phones
- Email communications
- Administration support to the Diamond manager
- General administration
Knowledge / Experience:
- Good literacy and IT Skills
- Flexible attitude and ability to work within a team
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Positive, patient, friendly and outgoing nature
- Ability to multitask and be proactive
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary contract
Contract length: 3-6 months
Salary: £10.00-£12.00 per hour

- Monday to Friday
