A&E Fire and Security Ltd is a specialist in the fire and security industry, installing and maintaining fire and security equipment and systems to a wide variety of new and existing customers throughout the South West, Midlands, South Wales and M4 Corridor to London.

We now have an exciting opportunity for a Customer Service Administrator to join our team. As a Customer Services Administrator, you will have the responsibility of completing a variety of tasks to support our customer services team to maintain exceptional levels of communication and customer service with our customers.

Main Job Requirements/Duties:

  • Creation of quotations for our customers following engineer visits.
  • Answering the telephone in a professional and timely manner and having the ability to resolve general queries or delegating queries/requests to the appropriate team member.
  • Raising job tickets and organising any relevant accompanying paperwork.
  • Sending customers copies of certification or invoices when requested.
  • Providing administrative support to the Customer Services Team Managers when required in terms of helping create planned maintenance and compliance reports.
  • Ad hoc attendance in customer service review meetings (over Teams or in person) to take minutes.
  • Make updates to customer equipment location lists through our system database.

  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
  • Confident telephone manner.
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to build lasting customer relationships.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Calm and composed with an ability to problem solve and work with the wider team to resolve general service issues.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise workloads to meet agreed deadlines.
  • Ability to communicate considerately with customers, sub-contractors & internal staff.
  • Competent with office administration systems such as Microsoft word and a basic understanding of Excel is advantageous.

Job Types: Permanent, Part-time

Salary: £20,000.00-£23,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 25 per week
