We have an exciting opportunity to join the Panther Cambridge team as a Customer Service Team Member!

Based within our Cambridge office at Waterbeach, this is a full time, permanent role working rolling shifts of four days on/four off including across weekends. The successful candidate will play an instrumental part in the day-to-day interaction with Panther Taxis large base of corporate customers, providing a high-quality service to all, operating with us throughout the region.

Duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Provide customer service support to Panther Taxis corporate account customers including creating and assisting with bookings, answering queries and dealing with customer concerns by telephone and email.
  • You will assist with allocation on some individual and group bookings including airport transfers.
  • Act as an account manger responsible for several specific corporate accounts to gain an understanding of their individual requirements.
  • You will provide support to the Corporate Team Leader with language school customers, student airport transfers and in our dealings with the Social and Education Transport Team at Cambridgeshire County Council for school run and vulnerable obligations.
  • You will be responsible for creating and amending individual and group bookings from excel spreadsheets and for providing quotes and logistical advice for journeys.
  • Attend calls on the corporate customer priority line and liaise with Driver Partners where necessary.

  • IT literate with good understanding of Microsoft applications including Excel
  • Highly organised and with the ability to plan and prioritise effectively
  • A pragmatic and straightforward approach to queries which centres on problem solving
  • A willingness to learn and develop within the role.
  • A good grasp of modern safeguarding protocols.
  • Ability to effectively manage conflicting deadlines.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise projects.
  • Highly organised and methodical.
