Salary: Competitive salary starting from £20,500 plus annual bonus
Working Hours: Full time, 36 hours per week
Training: You will undergo 4-weeks onsite training Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm. You will then transition into a 2-week period where you will handle calls in the graduate bay at our Glasgow office.
Colleagues in our General Insurance department support Tesco Bank customers with their home and motor insurance needs. You will be supporting customers who hold a policy with us and servicing their needs, including making changes to their policy. You may also be required to handle and resolve customer complaints.
After initial onsite training and grad bay placement, you will hybrid work from home via our ‘Moments that Matter’ working model. In this blended working model, you will spend most of your time working from home and come together with colleagues in our offices for important moments.
You must live within a commutable distance from the office as you will be expected to attend the office at least once a month and / or if you have any system issues which need resolved on the day.
You will be responsible for:
- Using your excellent listening and rapport building skills to provide an outstanding customer service
- Communicating with customers through various communication channels, primarily you will be working inbound calls but may be required to conduct outbound calls on occasion
- Using your own judgement to resolve customer queries appropriately
- Educating customers on the full range of products and services we offer - don’t worry, full training will be provided to ensure you are a Tesco Bank expert
- Listening to customers personal circumstances to understand their requirements and provide personalised solutions
You will need:
- Customer Service experience from retail, hospitality, leisure, or a call centre environment is desired but not essential
- Previous experience in a remote working role is preferred
- Communication, listening and empathy skills
- Comfortable with technology and the ability to use Microsoft Office
- A passion for delivering an excellent customer experience and finding the best outcome for our customers
