Customer Service Representative - Edinburgh

Summary of the role:
- Our working hours are 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday between 8am and 6pm (flexible hours available) so no evening or weekend shifts that would impact on your family and social lives!
- We are currently offering permanent roles that can be full or part time
- We can offer hybrid work from home when you are competent in your role after the initial onsite training period
- The salary for the role is up to £23,000 per annum based on skills and experience
- We are based in Standard Life House in Edinburgh City Centre so easily accessible by train or bus and car parking is available nearby.

What you'll be doing:
We have a mix of roles available for Customer Service Representatives, some are primarily phone based, and others working in our Back Office providing support to Standard Life customers and the role includes advising members on policy details, resolving queries, collaborating with independent financial advisors and most importantly, providing our customers with an exceptional level of service. There are no sales involved in this role, what's important is your ability to have conversations with customers in a confident, friendly and professional manner.
What we're looking for:
- You have a passion for helping people and providing great service. Many of our Customer Service Representatives have gained this through work in a call centre environment, retail, hospitality, travel, or other customer-focussed environments.
- What is important to us is your ability to communicate easily on complex matters and an exceptional positive attitude to providing service and a commitment to learning
- Good PC skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office (e.g. word, excel) together with attention to detail are essential for this role
