Acushnet Europe Limited, Europe’s leading golf manufacturer, islooking to recruit a new Customer Service Representative to join our Custom Clubs Team on a full-time permanent basis. The role will be based at our headquarters in St Ives, Cambridgeshire.
Reporting directly to the Custom Clubs Team Leader, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including, but not limited to the following.
- Answering and processing all customer enquiries professionally
- Operating telephone lines for all customer service areas
- Tracking existing order status and highlighting any issues to the Team Leader
- Ensuring orders are processed correctly and efficiently
- Maintaining optimum working relationship with ASM’s and internal departments
- Customer complaint handling, escalating as needed
- Arranging collections and credits as required
- Supporting departmental projects including order book management
- Following and adhering to all organisational policies, including record retention and health and safety.
So what do you need to be successful in the role?
Excellent communication skills, with a proactive approach and strong attention to detail are essential attributes for this position. With professional administration/IT skills you will have a strong desire to maximise customer satisfaction. You will also be focused, have the ability to cope under pressure, ensure all work is completed in a timely and accurate manner as well as help drive continuous improvement.
The ideal candidate will have had previous experience in a customer support role and will be educated to minimum Grade 4 (C) in GCSE Maths and English or equivalent. Training will be provided on all internal computer systems, but you should have a good working knowledge of Email, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
Experience or an interest in Golf would be advantageous however this is not essential.
