We are recruiting on behalf of a prestigious financial services company for a Customer Service Representative in the Deansgate area within Manchester City Centre. (This is solely office based, no hybrid/work from home is offered.)
Our client are a financial services brand, that offers business accounts and merchant services across the UK and Europe.
We are a seeking flexible, driven, and excellent communicators for a full-time role with huge internal progression opportunities, you will need to have a genuine passion for going that extra mile for their customers. This will include, completing account maintenance, through to answering virtual Face to Face calls and resolving customer queries and issues.
You need to be comfortable working shifts, as this company is a global business that services customers internationally, 24/7.
This role includes THREE types of shifts on a rotation basis, you must be able to do both morning and afternoon shift. Night shift is optional and includes a higher salary. (20 days morning, 20 days afternoon, 20 days nights)
Morning shift: 06:00 - 14:00 and Afternoon shift: 14:00 - 22:00 and night shift: 22:00 - 6:00am
**YOU MUST BE ABLE TO DO ALL 3 SHIFTS**
The rota is split in 28-day cycles. Each cycle consists of 20 working days and 8 days off and it always contains only one type of shift.
Holidays 23 days per year, plus Bank Holidays. In addition to this 1 extra day holiday is given after each year of service.
Role will include
- Undertaking virtual Face to Face calls with our customers on daily basis
- Assisting customers through our onboarding process, fielding account enquiries and solving technical issues, whilst always ensuring that the customer receives exceptional service
- Explaining our products and services to customers in a easy to understand manner
- Investigating, escalating and resolving support tickets in a timely fashion
- Communicating effectively with our customers through various channels
- Supporting our compliance function to complete KYC/KYB checks on our customers, when required
- Maintaining accurate records of customer interactions, transactions, comments, and complaints.
- Ensuring you know the clients products inside out, so that you can answer any questions relating to them
- Handling any customer complaints in a professional, calm and helpful manner.
About you
- Have a passion and desire to deliver exceptional customer service
- 3+ years’ experience within a Customer Service role
- Experience within the Banking/ Financial sector desired but not essential.
- Maintain infectious energy and enthusiasm for the role and our business
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills. We need our Customer Service Representatives to be able to communicate effectively with all our customers about our range of products and services
- You will need to be attentive, proactive and hardworking
