Customer Service Representative - Reading - 12 month FTC

Summary of the role:

  • These are full-time, 12 month fixed-term contacts
  • We can offer hybrid work from home after the initial onsite training period
  • Our working hours are Monday to Friday between 8am and 6pm (flexible hours available) so no evening or weekend shifts that would impact on your family and social lives!
  • The full-time starting salary is £21,500 per year
  • We are based in central Reading, a short walk from Reading train station and well connected by bus

What you'll be doing:

Our Customer Service Representatives are primarily phone based, providing support to our customers when they need it the most including advising members on policy details, resolving queries, collaborating with independent financial advisors and most importantly, providing our customers with an exceptional level of service.

What we're looking for:

  • You have a passion for helping people and providing great service. Many of our Customer Service Representatives have gained this through work in a call centre environment, retail, hospitality, travel, or other customer-focussed environments.
  • What is important to us is your ability to communicate easily on complex matters and an exceptional positive attitude to providing service and a commitment to learning
  • A good basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (e.g. word, excel) and computer competency is essential to the role.
