Customer Services Representative

We are looking for Customer Service Representatives to assist in propelling us to record breaking turnover by being a first port of call for our customer base within our growing Sales team. Your role will be essential in ensuring the satisfaction of our customers by helping them to receive the help and support they need, contributing to our future growth and success. You will be working as part of a Customer Service team undertaking day-to-day interactions within the inbound sales process, supplementing our Inside Sales team who are responsible for focusing on sales opportunities.

Good organisational skills are a must, as is the ability to handle a high throughput of work both efficiently and effectively to a high standard. As full training will be provided on the job then entry level applicants will be considered, and no prior chemical knowledge is required.
Key tasks:
- Main point of contact between Apollo and the customer.
- Manage the sales inbox, processing orders and handling customer enquiries as required.
- Preparing and managing quotations, order book and delivery processes.
- Resolving customer issues in a timely manner.
- General administration including answering the phones and answering webchat.
- Escalating technical enquiries to relevant personnel within the team.
- Adhere to the Companys Management System (ISO9001) which contains all departmental procedures and SOPs and all other standard company rules and regulation including the Environmental Policy. Ensuring all activities in department are carried out in accordance with the H&S policy.
Skills/ Competencies Required:
- Strong GCSE, or equivalent, grades in core subjects
- Friendly and outgoing persona
- Strong and confident communicator
- Effective organisational skills
- Good listening skills
- High level of empathy
- Good time management
- Can do attitude.
- Good IT skills with full competence within Microsoft 365 package, SAP Business One, webchat software (advantageous)
- Quick thinker and good ability to problem solve.
Package offered:
- Hours- 37½ hours per week, Monday to Friday, office based (Bredbury, Stockport).
- Starting salary - £22,500 to £25,000 depending on experience.
- Bonus package available related to company profitability.
- Excellent Pension - Group personal pension (company contribution of 7.5%, employees 5%).
- Holidays - 24 days per year plus bank holidays (increases in line with length of service).
