About the role:
Working within a small team, this is a supportive role covering a range of disciplines across the supply chain process. The role itself is one which can be made to be ones own with the view that the successful candidate will manage all third party logistic accounts and other key responsibilities.The new role will not only give a chance to develop within Customer Services but also other areas within the company. The role will be office based (Maidenhead) with the flexibility to work from home upon request.
Responsibilities:
Purchasing:
- Single point of contact for coordination with the storage site for the incoming and outgoing products.
- Liaise with warehouse personnel (booking in slot /receipting issues / returns)
- Follow up on returns and credit notes where relevant
- Track, order and ensure timely delivery
- Follow up with Suppliers as needed to confirm or change orders
Logistics Coordination:
- Coordination with batch release sites for the stocks and communication of orders.
- Verify and communicate the customer orders with storage site.
- Ensure that all customer orders are processed by the warehouse in a timely manner.
- Completion of various forms required for setting up the products with the storage site.
General:
- Create the PIP codes (unique identifiers) for the products
- Ensure all sample orders are processed in timely manner
- Client Management - progress order through the sales cycle, provide reports on shortages, maintain pricing)
- Arrange for dataloggers hardware to be retured to respective suppliers and maintain database
- Finished Product Inventory
- NHS Tender preparation
About you:
To be successful in this role, you will have the following qualities:
- Previous customer and client care experience, ideally within a logistics environment
- Planning and organising skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and a strong sense of commercial awareness
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures, policies and best practice from Quality perspective
- Excellent organisation and time management skills
- Good IT skills, e.g. MS Excel, Outlook, Word

Salary: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
